Groovy Grooms is NOW OPEN!

Today is the day Groovy Grooms was delivered and craned into place, so I am now officially up and running and open for business!
The guys at ACTA Crane Hire were fantastic and made sure everything was perfect for me before they left.

Today, I officially completed my business plan and sent in an application for a start-up loan!
I am making great headway with this website design and planning out how I want my first year of business to go, including organising a fund-raising event for charity, hosting a giveaway and building relationships with my lovely soon-to-be customers.
Fingers tightly crossed for my loan approval, so I can get on and place an order for the design and manufacture of my grooming pod to begin! 🐾
More updates will be added here as I reach my next milestones both before and after the official opening of Groovy Grooms.
Pre-Launch Updates

Today I have paid my deposit for a WetPets grooming pod! I have worked with Lisa to put together a design sketch of what colours it will have, what equipment and where it will all be placed. WetPets have a reasonably long waiting time for one of their pods, but I am very pleased to say that I am now on that list!

Today was Crufts, and I managed to buy a huge amount of my start-up equipment today, so I am definitely glad that I decided to take a little trolley with me! Clippers, happy hoodies, blades and combs - all now ready and waiting for the arrival of my pod, and your pets 🐾

This website goes live today! I have been busy this afternoon making updates and changes before sending it out, but I am excited to be getting this rolling. All that’s left now is to wait for the arrival of my premises, which will likely be my next major update here!

I have just paid the initial 50% of my grooming salon building costs! The build begins in exactly 2 weeks and I am so excited! Providing that all parts and equipment are readily available to the build company, I should have my salon completed in 2-3 months! Look out for pictures and updates.
